The Climate Reality Project Japan will host an online screening of the documentary film Degayu – Against the Shore, produced by the Climate Reality Project Indonesia.
Set in a coastal community on Java Island, Indonesia, this 25-minute documentary portrays the impacts of climate change and the lives of local residents confronting these challenges. Through their stories, the film sheds light on the realities faced by communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis and invites viewers to reflect on the meaning of climate justice.

Following the screening, CRP Japan intern Nguyen Viet Cuong will give a short presentation on the current situation and climate initiatives in his home country of Vietnam.

The event will also include a short discussion session to deepen understanding of climate justice and consider ways we can take action together.
