Japan is set to submit its next Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) in February 2025.

In response, Climate Reality Project Japan has published a position paper highlighting key challenges and necessary actions to align Japan’s NDC with the 1.5°C target and advance more ambitious climate policies.
